Ramayana Sri Lanka - 8 Days Tour
To have an experience of adventures with peeping into nature. You can explore some untouched tourist attractions in Sri Lanka by spending eight days of your vacation there. This tour package includes the Sinharaja rain forest, the Belihuloya area, Ella, Yala, and water sports hotspot Bentota.
Day 1
- Route: Airport > Sinharaja Rain Forest
- Drive: 4 Hours
- Hotel: Star category hotel (As your request) – Overnight stay at Sinharaja Rain Forest
- Vehicle: Private car or van (air conditioned)
At the airport, you will be greeted by your chauffeur from Sri Lanka Travel Tours and transferred from Colombo to Sinharaja Rain Forest (approximately 4 hours’ drive). Then Check in to the hotel in Sinharaja Rain Forest. Once in the comforts of your hotel, relax and recover from any jet lag.
Day 2
- Route: Sinharaja Rain Forest

- Hotel: Overnight stay at Sinharaja Rain Forest
- Highlights: Trek in Sinharaja Rain forest
On full-day rain forest walks with picnic meals, you can get a greater experience of different flora and fauna. The meaning of Sinharaja is “Lion Kingdom”. Sinharaja Rain Forest is a biodiversity hotspot and is considered a low-land rain forest. You can watch endemic fauna and flora while you are exposed to the forest.
Day: 3
- Route: Sinharaja > Belihuloya
- Drive: 3 Hours
- Hotel: Overnight stay at Belihuloya
- Highlights: Pahanthudawa Ella and Nanperial's lush green area
After breakfast, proceed to Belihuloya. Belihuloya is a hidden place enriched with natural beauty. You can visit Pahanthudawa Ella and Nanperial’s lush green area. At Nanperial, you will be able to take open baths in natural water streams
Day: 4
- Route: Belihuloya
- Drive: 30 Minuets
- Hotel: Overnight stay at Belihuloya
- Highlights: Babarakanda waterfall
After breakfast, proceed to Beragala, approximately a half-hour drive. Track the Babarakanda waterfall. Babarakanda is the highest waterfall in Sri Lanka. Amongst the majestic mountains of Kalupahana in the Central Highlands leaps the beautiful horsetail waterfall of Bambarakanda Ella.
Day: 5
- Route: Belihuloya > Ella
- Drive: 1.5 Hours
- Hotel: Overnight stay at Ella
- Highlights: Nine arch bridge and Little Adam’s Peak
You will be taken to visit the famous Nine Arch Bridge. This beautiful colonial railway bridge is made of brick, which is a really nice place for photo lovers. When one stands underneath it and looks up, there is a beautiful sight of ‘nine skies’ through the nine arches; hence, it’s called the Nine Skies Bridge. It is also called ‘The Bridge in the Sky due to its sheer height.
You will enjoy your packed lunch in a beautiful location.
Start your next hike at Little Adam’s Peak. Little Adam’s Peak is a pyramid-shaped rock located opposite the relatively huge Ella Rock. Nonetheless, it offers amazing views of Ella Rock, Rawana Falls, and surrounding valleys. Best reached in the early mornings, Little Adam’s Peak is often covered in mist. It is an easy hike, with the path zig-zagging around the back of Little Adam’s Peak Hill and only a bit steep near the top.
Day: 6
- Route: Ella > Yalla
- Drive: 2.5 hours
- Hotel: Overnight stay at Yalla
- Highlights: Yalla National Park
After breakfast, You will proceed to Yala. Yala National Park is a huge area of forest, grassland, and lagoons bordering the Indian Ocean in southeast Sri Lanka. It’s home to wildlife such as leopards, elephants, and crocodiles. You can have a wildlife jeep safari at Yala National Park.
Day: 7
- Route: Yalla > Bentota
- Drive: 4 Hours
- Hotel: Overnight stay at Bentota
- Highlights: Water sports
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Bentota.
Bentota is a beach destination. So, you can engage in water sports activities at Bentota. Bentota has always been renowned as the water sports capital of Sri Lanka, with the hoteliers in the area actively promoting water sports from an adrenaline-filled speed boat and jet ski riding to windsurfing, boogie boarding, water skiing, kite surfing, and a leisurely ride on a banana boat for the family and kids.
Day: 8
- Route: Bentota > Airport (Colombo)
- Drive: 2 hours
- Highlights: Colombo City Tour
After breakfast, proceed to Colombo for a mini-city tour.
As all good things must come to an end, we bid you farewell as our chauffeur transfers you to the airport to meet your departure flight home.
