We had an amazing time during our 10 Day Sri Lanka Trip and it wouldn’t have been possible without Rasanka and his “ Sri Lanka Travel and Tours”. Rasanka helped us a lot with planning of our itinerary and making it practical for us. The range of cars that they have is amazing and one can tell your requirements in advance. Like in our case, once we shared that while we are a family of three, we ( like most Indians) don’t travel light! And hence Rasanka changed our car to a specific model that provided comfort as well as provided space to take care of our Luggage. We also had a great driver called Anura.Anura was very professional,well mannered, patient, helpful and a careful driver with a calm mind. Sri Lanka Roads are very good, its very clean, people are simple and helpful.Since there are so many places to see and things to do ,its advisable to do road trips esp as road network is very good and roads are also very smooth. Self-Drive is an option but we are glad that we took “Sri Lanka Travel and Tours” as locals know the language,routes and one doesn’t have to depend on mobile navigation. It’s been a few weeks since we returned from our trip to Sri Lanka and we are still in awe of all the sites and activities we completed. Thank you, Ransanka for arranging such an amazing trip and creating wonderful memories for us. The whole trip went very smoothly and we all had our best holiday ever. The safari seeing the Elephants was definitely a highlight and we had the best guides everywhere we went. Can’t believe we covered from Jaffna all the way to Galle, in 12 days!! A group of us have recently returned from an amazing 8 days in Sri Lanka with Rasanka as our guide. What a beautiful country with so many stunning sights to see! Rasanka was recommended to us by some friends that spent a week touring with him. From the first point of contact Rasanka was brilliant! Helpful, kind, honest and extremely accommodating with our seemingly jam packed itinerary. As a group of 11 girls we hired the mini van to travel Sri Lanka. This was comfortable, pretty spacious and air conditioned. We spent a fair amount of time travelling from city to city, so this was essential. We really wanted to see as much of Sri Lanka as we could during our stay, and Rasanka made this possible for us. We started our first day with a spontaneous suggestion of white water rafting and the adventure began here. We managed to fit in some spa treatments, climbed Sigiriya Rock, saw the elephants, experience Sri Lankan cooking first hand, took an ox and cart ride to the rice paddy fields, and went on a canoe to learn more about the making of Roti and other Sri Lankan treats. We visited Dambulla Golden Temple, enjoyed learning about spices at the Spice Garden, visited a children's orphanage, watched a traditional dance/fire walking, looked around the Sacred Tooth Temple and enjoyed seeing the elephants in Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. We moved into the highlands to visit a tea plantation, drove to Adam's Peak ready for the 2am hike for sunrise - 6400 steps - walked around Nuwara Eliya town (mini England) and stopped for some tea and cake. Our next destination was Yala National Park for a safari, we had dinner at the lovely Coconut Garden, went dolphin and whale watching down near Marissa, spent the day at a private pool/beach, and finally finished our holiday in the beautiful Hikaduwa to chill, tan, and party in Mambos and Funky De Bar.
